Ideal Instrument Co., Inc. founded in 1953 during the cold war era as a machine shop fabricating metal parts for Raytheon, MIT Lincoln Labs and General Electric Co., transformed over the years into what is now an all encompassing facility. Ideal now fabricates parts from Aerospace metals, RF load material, Dielectrics, Composites, and Syntactic Foam.​
